Frequently asked questions

How long does a wheel change take?

Allow about 30 minutes for a wheel change and about 60 minutes for tyre fitting with balancing.

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Yes. Using the link in your confirmation email, you can move your appointment yourself up to 12 hours beforehand and cancel it until the appointment starts. After that, please give us a call.

What should I bring to my appointment?

For a wheel change, bring your second set of wheels – ideally already in the boot. If your rims have locking wheel nuts, please bring the matching key. If your wheels are stored with us, you don't need to bring anything.

Do I need to re-tighten the wheel bolts after the change?

Yes. After 50–100 km the wheel bolts should be checked and re-tightened with a torque wrench. This applies to every wheel change, including those done in a workshop.
